The son of a former bus driver from Pakistan sajid javid becomes a Britain’s interior minister.His father comes Britain in 1960, with nothing, he pocket and started working in a cotton mill in England.The 48-year-old former investment banker Sajid Javid became the first home secretary from an ethnic minority. It is one of the four great offices in British politics along with prime minister, foreign secretary and finance minister. He replaced Amber Rudd, who resigned following a crisis over the threatened deportation of members of the Windrush generation,Javid takes responsibility for resolving the situation, promising to treat those affected with “decency and fairness”

Early life

He was born in Rochdale, Lancashire, England on 5 December 1969. He studied economics and politics at the University of Exeter and joined the Conservative Party.In childhood Javid developed an interest in financial markets and at the age of 14, he borrowed £500 from a bank and invested in shares.

Career

As a banker, he rose rapidly to become a managing director at Deutsche Bank. In 2010, he was elected as MP for Bromsgrove and was promoted to Economic Secretary to the Treasury and later Financial Secretary to the Treasury.He served in the Cabinet as Culture Secretary from 2014 to 2015, Business Secretary and President of the Board of Trade from 2015 to 2016 and Communities Secretary from 2016 to 2018. He was appointed to his current role as Home Secretary on 30 April 2018 following the resignation of Amber Rudd for distorted the Home Affairs Select Committee over goals for elimination of illegal immigrants during the Windrush scandal. On 1st March 2014, Javid was appraised for remarksblaming Labour Leader Ed Miliband of having some duty for the crisis in Crimea, claiming that there was “a direct link” between Miliband’s refusal to support military intervention in Syria and the behind Russian activity in Ukraine.


Personal life:
Javid married Laura King in 1997, they met as students. The couples have four children son and three daughters. He has before described his family’s legacy as Muslim but explained that he himself does not practice any religion.
